Complementary Health Products For The Future:

Growing Through Innovation

On 25 July 2022, Link Capital participated in an event co-organised by Enterprise Singapore & Temasek Polytechnic to showcase our capabilities in Agarwood production and development into complimentary health products.

The complementary health products (CHP) industry is rapidly growing and gaining popularity globally across the three main categories of CHP – traditional medicines, health supplements and functional foods. Innovation and internationalisation are pivotal for sustainable development and growth within this industry. Through product innovation, companies can remain competitive in both local and overseas market.

The Centre of Innovation for Complementary Health Product (COI-CHP) at Temasek Polytechnic was established in 2016 as a strategic partnership with Enterprise Singapore to support Singapore-based Complementary Health Product (CHP) enterprises meet the growing challenges and technological advances.

Agarwood Processing Factory in Lao PDR

Both Singapore and Lao PDR government are very supportive of our project.  Our pre-processing factory in Lao PDR was officiated by Mr Dominic Goh (Singapore Ambassador to Lao PDR) and Dr Lien Tikeo (Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Lao PDR) on Oct 2017.

  • A 20-year concession certificate (starting April 2019), export and operating licenses were provided by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Lao PDR to implement the Agarwood project.

  • Tapping on Enterprise Singapore (ESG) network to establish the branding (Made In Singapore) of finished products and engagement of potential off-takers globally.

  • Work with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to assist in due diligence process for potential buyers and in depth engagement in business collaboration.
